It is tax season again and Mom Kuhens is totally enveloped in papers and computers. It is about this time that we don't see her again until the end of April. Kind of cool actually. We can say whatever we want and she'll never see this until April! I'll take it down before that. Anyone needing their taxes done, the sooner you get them to her the better..and hey, how about sending her some chocolates while you're at it? She doesn't like the kind with cream inside them - she likes Godiva caramels last I heard.

Tom Clair accepted the lieutenant position in the FDNY. Tommy turned it down for the past year for various reasons and removed himself from the list. He recently put his name back on and was promoted. He even made the news. Click here to see him getting sworn in. This is a picture of him with all the new gear he'll have to carry - a walkie talkie. Michael graduated from the fire academy. Like any good firefighter he hasn't done a stitch of work yet as he went right from probie school to the medical office and then on to surgery to have a nasty hernia operated on. He is now recovering and should maybe set foot in a firehouse sometime in February. This is what he looked like after going through basic training. His drill instructor was actually from the Marines!

Paul Ronaldson has started college. He is at SUNY Brockport in New York. (Close to where Erin lives) I know, I know! Who woulda thunk that a college woul take him in, but they did! My bet is Auntie Kim paid them off somehow. We'll never know. OK, OK, I kid. Actually Paul is really smart, kind and polite. I adore that cousin of mine. He's gorgeous to boot.
