Bill Kuhens Retires!!! |

July 2001 - the end of an era. Bill retired and a good time was had by all. Most of all by Bill we suspect. There were two parties thrown for him, one at Billy's house in upstate, New York and another by Goldman Sachs at an exclusive club in Manhattan.  Bill's retirement party was held at a club called the Captain's Ketch. The entire bottom floor was rented out and his company presented him with many wonderful gifts, including a "memory jar" where his friends and co-workers had written their favorite memory of him and placed it in the jar. |

It was a wonderful party. So many people came and it really showed how much everyone admires and likes this great guy! You never saw someone so happy. |

The whole family attended. Bill was so nervous beforehand he was making everyone crazy! Billy came and brought his girlfriend Pam and Kerry and Tommy came down as well. Michael made sure he was available as well. It was an important day in the life of their dad. |

 Everyone had a really nice time. Bill spent a lot of years developing a lot of friendships at Goldman. We're sure he'll be very missed. |
